This is truly a FREE service
Here’s how it works:
- Register your SIP IP phone with Free World Dialup, www.freeworldialup.com. When you register for FWD, you are assigned a FWD number. Once you register your IP phone with the FWD Network, you are able to contact all of the other registered FWD members if they are on-line when you are. Your phone can also be simultaneously registered with a commercial service. If you don't have a Sip IP Telephone: Costs vary from $75 to $300. You can get an SIP IP Gateway such as the CISCO 182 for 2 lines for about $150, CISCO ATA-186, or similar gateway (prices may vary). You can also utilize your PC with MS Messenger by using a head set or using speakers, a microphone and a sound card.
- After you receive your FWD number, register that number at IpKall, and you will be assigned a local number in Washington State. Give out your Washington state number to friends, family, business associates, and others around the world. Using this number, they can call you for the cost of a domestic call and you will receive the call through your IP telephone device anywhere in the world.

- If you wish to use your IP phone for making outbound calls to an “ordinary” phone, request information by emailing info@ipkall.com
- If you don’t answer or are not online, calls will go to voicemail, and messages will be sent to your email as .wav files. You can dial in and get your voicemail.

Who Can Use IPKall?
- Anyone who has an Internet connection, preferably high speed like DSL or Cable, can receive calls using your computer and/or an SIP IP telephone. If you do not have a SIP IP telephone, click here for information on buying one.
- Anyone who has an IP SIP Gateway, such as a CISCO ATA-186, can receive calls from any traditional landline, mobile phone or pay phone.
- Anyone who has speakers and a microphone can even receive calls through Microsoft Messenger. Even if you have a static IP address, you can have a normal local U.S. phone number that rings to your IP Phone or your computer.
